AC bearings can give you a chirp like that? Hmm.

Does it speed up with engine rev? It could be anything that moves..tensioner, alternator bearings, the belt, water pump,. I picked AC cause when the video moved that way it was louder...but it may be because you were closer. I'd still even though done recheck the tensioner and belt. Might try getting a little wd-40 on all the pullies. Dont get it on belt of course lol.

It was because I was closer, the sound is actually the same through the engine bay. It's very weird. As you speed up/accelerate the sound actually begins to go away, it doesn't get worse. I just did the tensioner this past weekend but I'll recheck it. This is so annoying to pinpoint!

It might also be worth noting that usually when the car starts up from a cold start the sound won't be there and then it slowly comes back and gets worse as the engine warms up.

Replace your synchronizer and you will solve your problem.

Pull the serpentine belt off and start the car. That will tell you in a few seconds if it is the CPS or not.

If you remove the top from the synchronizer and spray a a small amount of lubricant on top to allow it to drain into it. Put the top back on and start the car. The noise will go away, but temporarily. This lets you know it is the synchronizer. It is a very high pitch squeal, that is very hard to ignore. I think the part is around $65.00.

I went ahead and bought the part, I just need to find time to install it.
