Mustang whistles upon shifting into 3rd gear

Mustang whistles upon shifting into 3rd gear
Alright so i just installed a short throw shifter and i am 99% sure its in there correctly. The dust boot is a little squished but i dont think that would have anything to do with the whistle. It whistles a little as i am releasing the clutch in 3rd and then when i am lightly accelerating. should i be worried?
