Default Build up 3.8

I'm looking for a little bit of help here. And if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I have a 99 mustang
I was thinking about doing a swap but I know that would take a lot to do. So I'm wondering I really built the 3.8 Up is there stroker kit pistons the whole 9 yards out there. If anyone know good stroker kit or combination let me know please. Because swapping out to 351 I need to many sensors wiring all them things

There is no such thing as stroker pistons, swapping in a pushrod really isn't that difficult.

Sorry I didn'ts see this post until now. But yes there is a kit you can buy with everything. If you aren't to skilled in engine building I would advise you contacting a machine shop for building.

Pistons will never change your stroke, you need a different crank (which often needs new rods, and pistons). It is the crank that changes the stroke.

A 351 swap is not a viable option. It needs much more than you can imagine.

The 3.8 can be stroked to a maximum of 4.3L albeit 4.2L is the common kit on the market.

Also this is a mod you will need a shop to do and once you're fully invested you're looking at around $5000 for everything. I'd personally recommend trading your car in for something else. You're gonna invest more in the car than it's worth.

lol I dont care what engine you go with... your going to have a lot of money tied into it. But ideal term to stroker involves the crank but you can add longer rods and etc. So many options check out super six motorsports. And try to get quotes for assembly on someone you know. I have heard horror stories about machine shops saying "Yeah, Hell I can do that for you!"

It only needs as much as a 302 swap, which is not really that bad of a swap.
And, you know you can get up 4.6L out of a 3.8 =P

Longer rods don't change the actual stroke. Stroke is how far up and down the piston travels in the cylinder, not how low or high in the cylinder the piston is. Only the crank will do this, but as others have said, yep they make em. Everything else is helpful in other aspects of performance.
