Replaced Camshaft Sensor, now running slower?
So, that evil Check Engine light came on in the 95 V6. When I had it tested, it said that my Camshaft sensor was shot. Witch would explain why when I drove at low RPMs, the engine would skip a beat. Either way. Now that I had it replaced and reset the computer, it seems like my car doesn't have the get-up-and-go like it used to. Any idea why or what I did wrong?
Thanks.
Thanks.

See, the thing with those OBDII code readers, (especially the ones that us part stores use), aren't a complete diagnostic reader. It basically just pulls codes and even then it may not be exactly what is wrong with it, it just gives you a general area of where to start. I assume they didn't tell you that at AutoZone?

You need to go have a shop or mechanic actually run a diagnostic on it. The little OBDII's we use at the part stores just pull codes, they don't actually diagnose, and a lot of the time, just because a camshaft code came up, doesn't actually mean it's the camshaft.
I know it's been a little while since I was in here, did you get the problem resolved?
