Default Electrical Short 2000 Mustang

Hello everyone, I'm new to this forum and to Mustangs and I could really use some help. a few days ago I was trying to install my own aftermarket radio, it wasnt a success..but after I put the original radio back, I noticed that it wasnt working..then also my windshield wipers stopped working as well. I googled and youtubed how to fix this problem but not coming up with many answers. Can anyone help me out?

Check your fuse. It may not look blown, but go a head and replace it just in case. It doesn't hurt having a new fuse. XD Also, I'd pull out your radio and go over the wires again. Make sure none of them are burnt or connected wrong or not connected period. Never hurts to double check. Start with that before you bother going to buy a multimeter.

I've checked the fuses and the wiring on the radio..everything looks ok...no blown fuses..but still no power to that nor the windshield wipers

hopefully i can find a solution before having to pay a mechanic.

Did you use an actual wiring harness?

Here is where the diagram is. I dropped my keys into the cigarette lighter and shorted out the wipers. For two years I have invested in Rain X. If you figure it out drop a few words and help your lazy fellow mustang enthusiast.
