Default False theft alarm

Hi,
I have a 1997 mustang which was imported to Dubai from Japan recently. It runs well but lately, it seems to have a problem. The vehicle is parked outside the apartment under the 50 degrees Dubai sun. Whenever I try to start the car in the afternoons or evenings, the theft warning signal goes off in the dashboard. This continues for a while and after several restarts, seems to work fine again. Anyone else facing this problem or have any thoughts? Do you think it is because of the extreme heat conditions here?

So, when you see the THEFT light, are you able to start the car? Or does "restart" mean you pull the key out and put it back in? Does the light flash? For how long?

Does it work better with the other key? (Do you have two?)

Do you have any trouble codes?

It could be an issue with the P.A.T.S. transceiver in the steering column. If it can't detect the key, it won't let the car start.
