2000 Mustang factory shop manual missing info
Anyone else purchase the 2 volume factory shop manual for your 2000 mustang? I recently purchased one off of eBay. And to my dismay info I required is not printed in the manual. The person I bought it from states no missing pages. And according to the indexes. What I am looking for is not in the manual. I needed to remove my cowl vent grille(now damaged and in need to replace), to get to the washer hoses. My passenger side is not spraying. Anyway back to the point in question. There is reference to the cowl. However no instructions on how to properly remove. Also the hood. The hood is not even mentioned. The books don't even look like pages are missing. I was gonna make a you tube video on bashing the crappy Haynes manuals for lack and miss info. But now why do that when even the ford factory manuals weighing almost 10 lbs not even have that? It does mention the hood latch torque specs that's it. And when reading the parts for the windshield and washers in mentions the section to refer to to remove the cowl vent. Just nothing there. it's a real pain. Ill have to goto ford and see if that have that info if there willing to give it over. They might just want me to buy a new Stang. :P

Um, hood removal is very basic. There are four bolts. Take them out. Hood falls off.
Wiper cowl isn't much more work than the hood.
Instead of whining and crying like a spoiled teenager, try SEARCHING. Google is your friend. There are countless "how-to" articles and videos posted on the cowl. It's a common thing to need replacing on these cars.

Ok if u know so much. Just for fun and just for me. Why don't you perform a hood removal all by your self without te help of another person. If u can do it without getting hurt or damaging anything. Then great ill just do what u do. Be more supportive of other ok **** face.

Haha, you're talking to the wrong guy. I pulled my hood off by myself all the time.
Seriously, Google.com and type in "SN95 Mustang wiper cowl removal".
Edit: Here I'll just lay it out for you.
Take off the wiper arms.
Open your doors and take out the couple of screws at each end.
Pop the hood and pull off the rubber weather strip.
There are a few plastic push pins under the hood that you just need to tug to get to pop out.
Tug the cowl off. It pops out.
Maybe I should submit my "how to" to Ford and get paid to put it in the book.

I've pulled my hood off and reinstalled a different one several times by myself. It's awkward, but not impossible. I have 3 different hoods that I run so swaps are pretty normal, and my wife is no good at helping.
