So I went and bought another set of wires and plugs and the sensor and am still having the misfire in cylinder 6. I'm going to go through all wiring again and possibly taking my car to a shop to diagnose if I can't find something tonight.

Yeah go through all the wiring again and as you did last time, take a look under the hood in the dark. It honestly sounds at this point like you have a rare "compound" issue meaning more than one thing was causing the issue at hand.

also if you have a spray bottle that gives off a good mist, spray it in the bay and you will see any grounding issues. cyl 6 tends to eat spark plugs in our cars, if you look at finks m112 build you can see a pic of some type of build up on it, happend to me twice already, pull that plug and look at it again, its farily easy to get to. because with all your compounded issuse it could of fouled it out again.

Glad you got it fixed, and congratulations, you are officially part of the 1 percenters, meaning you had an ECU failure which rarely happens. You may wanna take a further look at your old ECU and see how it could of failed. Meaning look for signs of corrosion or water damage. If it shows signs of that you need to see where and how it's leaking into your fire wall and fix that our else your current ECU will suffer the same fate.
