Best place too look for a Windstar intake is the junk yard. When I had my 2000 v6 mustang its were I found majority of my parts...... also cheap upgrade is the 94-98 headers off the old 3.8 mustangs better design and the 99-04 log style manifolds are known to crack over time.

thanks for that bit of information going to see if i can get to a junk yard this weekend.. i have been looking into the 3.8-4.2 swap does anyone know how easy it is for the 2000, what would i need and would the winstar intake still be applicable?

You really dont need to much except a way to re route the intake (perfect time to got to a CAI) and thats about it. Just google mustang windstar intake 3.8 and it should have loads of info.
