Default 2003 Mach 1 by my area for $19999, go for it?

To finance? Credit is pretty good, and the Mach 1 is beautiful. It's procharged

One problem: 64,000 miles on it...but 5 previous owners. There's got to be something wrong. 5 owners! Too much, don't you think? My Mustang only had 1 previous owner, and the Mach 1 has a procharger in it so it might have been run too hard. What do you think? Sell my V6, and get the Mach 1 or use the V6 as a trade in value?

Yay, or nay?
Also Mach 1 has no shaker, it's only got the Cowl Hood

I say absolutely not. There must be a reason the car was passed around so much.

5 owners is a lot, and I don't like cars that are already modded. On top of that, I haven't priced Mach 1s any time recently, but I paid $21k for my Cobra something like 5 years ago, so that price seems way too high to me.

You should be able to find a really nice Mach 1 for around 15K....and 5 owners is wayyyyyy to many I wouldnt do it just based on that and not to mention the price. & yes you should be able to find a nice 03/04 Cobra for around 19kish

19,999 for a car with 60,000 miles and 5 owners is way way way way too much. Mach 1s with only one or two owners with those miles go for around $12,000 give or take $2,000. 03/04 Cobras go from 16-22K. So they are way off base.

Being procharged actually lowers the value as it detracts from the rarity of the Mach 1 factory setup.

Sounds like something bad wrong with it and it is probably patched to last a year if lucky.

Ebay Motors has a lot of nice MACH 1 Mustangs at nice prices and financing it looks like. New Edge style ones run about 16k

This one is $17.5 and they finance

And my God in heaven this one is just $16.5

^^^^^

Why do you think something is wrong with the car?

EDIT: I'm going to try and get that Mach 1 lower. That car's been sitting there for 3-4 weeks now. They aren't going to get buyers if they still have the price that high. I'll try and low ball and see what happens. If they don't budge, then screw it, but I sure as hell am NOT paying $20K for that Mach 1. Never.

Even supercharged..I'll finance hopefully $15K
I'll try and see if they'll even budge (probably not). I mean I am trading in my Mustang so I'm giving out at least something

That car is worth 10-14K. Supercharged doesn't add value, again it actually can hurt the value. Look it over very well and they need to be realistic about the price. But don't get all excited and wind up with a lemon. Keep in mind when you supercharge a car that wasn't made super charged from the factory it increases the risk of issues arising, and despite what a lot of people say, most supercharged cars have issues. They may not be major, but most due, and that's largely due to improper installation or tune. These minor issues can become major very quickly and can even ruin a motor. So you really need to be careful on this one.
