Default Tuneups..not always needed

Im not sure when this was..im thinking it was 2012. I posted about it on here I remember. But my car started missing and sputtering. It did this for a few months and finally a CEL came on. I could never scrape the money together to get the tune up I was wanting to get..I really tried. Then before that year ended the CEL went out and it's never missed a lick since. I was just remembering that sitting here. I think thats the strangest one Ive come across yet for the car lol. Glad it is self repairing lol.

Maybe I have a Autobot and it had a cold . It goes out at night to fight crime haha. Anyways just sharing.

Same thing happened to my fathers truck. Or well same situation. He put it in drive and a really huge cathunk was heard, but it went into gear. Well a month later it threw a CEL and long story short the truck would shift but it needed a whole new tranny. But one day we got in, started it, and the CEL was gone. We didnt clear the computer or anything. Now you wouldnt even know it happened and it saved 3,000. Funny how life and cars works sometimes

My fox had the CEL light on for 3 years, I just didnt care. THen all of a sudden it went out and hasnt been on for 3 months. I think the bulb burnt out, but it runs fine without any issues.

Every now and then the abs light comes on in my 04 and tells me when scanned that the front driver sensor is bad, which disables abs and traction control, drive for a few days and it all starts working again. Happens about once a year.

CEL on my old 85 TA stayed on for over 10 years. I finally decided to check it out. 3 shops and much money and parts thrown at it later and it was the O2 sensor. It stayed off 4 weeks. I said F it again.
