99 Mustang will not start
Hello, my son's 99 V6 Mustang will not start. It seeme to be a fuel problem. I tried checking the fuel pressure at the schrader valve but there doesn't seem to be any pressure. I removed the valve core and turned the key on and nothing will come out of the valve. We also replaced the fuel filter but that didnt help. I can't hear the pump either. Is there a way to check that the pump is good/bad before pulling the the tank? It will run on some either but as soon as the either is gone it dies.
The car was running but hasn't been driven much in the last few months, any ideas?
Thanks

Well if you turn the key to ON but not start it and dont hear anything and you have no fuel pressure that pretty much says fuel pump...or fuse.
EDIT: One other thing is you might try checking the inertial switch in the truck and see if that some how was tripped.
