Default 01-98 swap need help!

I have a 98 3.8 v6 with a blown engine and a complete 01 engine minus wiring harness. What i need to know is if i can put the 01 engine into the 98 and if so what kind of things specifically will be problematic. Just from looking at it for a minute it appears the fuel rails are different and the 01 only has one fuel line whereas the 98 has 2 fuel lines that run to the rail. Any advise or if anyone has done this swap info would be greatly appreciated!

You'll need to address the fuel system (return in your car vs returnless on the newer motor).

You can get everything you need from Super Six Motorsports.

so from what your saying it sounds to me like your saying there is a kit of some sort that converts 2 fuel lines into 1 fuel line. Is that correct?

So from what ive figured out it seems a 96-98 windstar fuel rail will fit an 01 motor and has the return system also. Anyone know if this is correct or have any experience with that?

You don't need the return for the new motor.
