My window is off track
My window had been giving me troubles of late. The other day I went to roll it up and it popped really loud. Thought it had broke but nope...was off track. All I could do was stop and ope nthe door and pull the window into place so it wont rain it. No idea when Ill have the spare cash to take it in and Im not taking a door apart. This sucks. I fear Ill forget one day and roll it down and it wil lfall inside the door.

I just had this exact same problem. Most likely the window came out of the glue holding it in the bracket that attaches to the regulator. You can try to reglue it but it will almost certainly fail again. Ford changed the bracket to a much better design in 2003 that has a bolt going through the bracket keeping it from ever separating. A local auto glass shop charged me 200 bucks total for a new glass piece with the new style bracket on it and the installation labor. Don't worry, the new style works fine with all 99-04 mustangs

Got an estimate today. For full repair including labor and the new whatever part is in there it would be $250. Seem pretty damn good to me.
Not sure the part that he mentioned...might have been regulator. Not sure.

That is common 3 of my SN95s did that and would start to warp inward toward the car. Making it hit when shutting the door or you would have to push on the window to get it to roll up. All popping out of the bottom bracket.
Bad design but veryyyy common. Get it done and be done with it.
