the driver's side window on our 2002 convertible keeps skipping past the stop, which then causes the button on the bracket to pop out of the track. Is this possibly an adjustment issue or something else? We had the original problem of the glass coming unglued from the brackets; had the window replaced with a better version that has a continuous bracket all the way across the glass. The window worked fine for about a year after that, then this problem started. Not sure what to try next... has anybody else had this issue and if so how did you resolve it?

I was told by a man at a parts store that had had several of these body styles mutangs as have I an have never had an issue with a power window. The rivets, ive broken, or w/e....drill olut if needed, use a small bolt they sell at advance auto parts, be sure to get the nut that has well def get probably the smallest they have same for smal bolt, an make sure its the type of nut with plastic in the top of it so it will help not overtighten and crack glass. That's what i was told, then another one told me after that of JUST this alone, that 3M makes a tape product for this to tape it into the bottom of hte regulator bracket so it will stay put for a long time of going up an down when you need it to. SO hope maybe this helps, im about to do it on mine tomorrow. Hope i helped!
