convertible tips and tricks

Is there a way to lower all the windows at once on a convertible? such as a combination press of a button on the fob or in the master switch?

Will it destroy the convertible top/mechanisms if the windows are left up when closing the top?

Well, just hold all 4 buttons down at once until the windows are down. Only the drivers door window has an automatic down. It probably wouldn't seriously mess up anything to put the top back up with the windows also up, but at least drop the windows a little first just so the seals line up correctly

As recommended by Ford, you should lower your windows before opening and/or closing the convertible top. Not doing so could result in tearing of your rubber seals. Plus the cost of replacing those seals is worth not taking the risk in my opinion.

I wouldn't run all of those electric motors at the same time.

my 06 Convertible only has three buttons one for the driver one for the passenger and one to roll down. Both back Windows however if all four windows are up and I hit the button to lower the top it will automatically drop all four windows before the top comes down
