Can anyone direct me in the way to remove the quarter panel air scoop from my 99 Mustang ? Previous owner has painted it and it does't match and I would like to remove it and paint it much less work than painting it on the car. Looks like there maybe six clips that holds but don't see how to get to them.

It sounds bad but the only way is force and twisting. Pull out the honeycomb insert first and grab the strongest part of the scoop and try to pull and wiggle the clips out. There is no way to get to them from the inside of the car
