I have a Mustang 2002 V6 3.8L and need help replacing the belt tensioner. My car makes a cracking noise when I turn on the A/C. The wheel also becomes a little harder and car makes a noise when i turn.

I'm able to remove the serpentine belt but can not remove the tensioner. I was using the T55 and trying to turn counter clockwise. What am I doing wrong? Please help and thank you.

The tensioner will not fix your issues, all it does it put tension on the belt. It sounds like your power steering pump is either low on fluid or shot.
