What insulation is under the carpet?

I'm replacing the carpeting in my 2000... (pretty narly)..

I have new carpeting from ACC. (with mass backing)

Upon getting the old out, I see what looks like house-hold padding underneath... (see pictures) Is this stock? Should I remove?

Second question...

I see, what looks like, sound-deadening padding under the rear seat.. Is this stock?

Third question....

The framework that holds the back of the rear seats.. There's two bolts (one on each lower corner).. Mine are missing.. what thread size are they?

Thanks in advance...

That floor stuff acts in 3 ways...padding, heat absorption, and sound dampening.

That stuff is not stock in a 2000. At least not in mine.

I figured the yellow stuff wasn't stock.

There was evidence that that carpeting had been removed previously.

So.. I'll be taking it out, and putting in a layer of Dynamat.

If I remember, I'll try to take some pictures as I go along.
