Default 2000 Mustang need help

Hi all,
My teenage son has a 2000 Mustang v6 automatic with 150k miles. Lately his car has been having a musty odor in the cabin. Well today he said something was dripping from under his foot pedal and it smelled really bad when the AC was on. So I went outside and took a photo of what he was talking about and was hoping someone here might be able to tell me what is wrong. I am attaching a photo. It seems there is a hose that burst. Can someone help me? Thanks in advance.

Debbie

I have no experience with this but the only thing I know of that would leak into the inside is a bad heater core but I thought they always leaked on the passenger side.

EDIT: Wait! You said it did it with the AC on that day. It could just be a plugged AC drain. Lemme look for a link.
