Default Mustang v-6 0-60 time

Hey everyone!!! I just got a 1999 Mustang Convertible. Its a V-6. What is the 0-60 time in that car and what is the top speed? Anyone know?

Also, has anyone tried one of those tornado air things you put in your intake to create spin and increase horsepower and gas mileage? Is this real or a bunch of ricer trash??

Tornado=RICER TRASH! Doesn't work, never did, loses HP....[:'(]
Top speed is governed electronically at around 115. Not sure about 0-60...Maybe I shoulda tried that before modding mine..Oh well.

Well dude, I just drove my friends new 2000 V6 mustang. The car has only two mods, a GT cutoff exhaust, and a K&N filter. The car has 130000 miles and is an auto, his 0-60 time was around 9.0 seconds. Now he did let me drive his car and I hate to say it but its slower than mine. Now I know I have done much more to my car than he has done on it already, but I still have a 45 hp shortfall, so what the hell is wrong here. I have a 98 V6 auto, with 122000 miles, so its almost dead even liftime wise, so what's up, and yes the car had the overdrive off and was well warmed up when I drove it, can't understand how this could be!

130000 miles for a 2000 means someone beat the S*** out of that car

Actually no, the car was in excellent condition, he just used it for school, see he drove from home to SLU which is about 90 miles round trip, so the miles are about right for the car being 5 1/2 years old and him commutting to school 3-5 days a week for four years.

0-60 is low to mid 7 seconds, quarter is low 16, but high 15s are possible, top end you just wind out of third gear which is good to about 120 or so, if you have O/D off youll just bury it into the redline.
