Turbo questions

I am new to turboing an have some questions. When they tune your car can you adjust the boost level after and be safe or does every different psi of boost need its own tune? Also, can you run half pounds of boost? Such as 8.5 pounds of boost?

I don't have a forced induction car, but every boost change should require an updated tune. Sure it may cost more but you do not want to make that build as inexpensive as possible if you want that car to run well.

As for if you can run a half pound versus a whole pound of boost, I would not worry about that. Your tuner will be able to tune even if its technically 6.5 pounds of boost.
