99-04 Mustang Convertible. Will front GT bumper cover fit?

99-04 Mustang Convertible. Will front GT bumper cover fit?
First time posting. Use this forum a lot for questions but usually I can find an answer but I can't this time.
Recently got into a finder bender and need a new front bumper cover. Luckily mustangs have the most after market production of any car ever so I've found a lot online and they're all back and forth if the GT hood will fit a base mustang. Some saying it will some saying it won't but no clear and answer.
But I found a local deal and it's a bumper, headlight bracket and lights all for $150. Which is a steal if it's all in as good of condition as it seem to be. But the issue is it's a GT bumper. So will it fit on my convertible?
I have a V6 2004 3.9L Mustang Convertible if that makes any difference. Thanks!

The GT hood will fit just fine, so will the bumper cover. Not sure if you need the
upper grille though.
For Gen5, like an '08, it all works out fine, unless you go Cobra look, then you need
the Cobra hood, upper grille and headlamps. They're shaped different...

The front bumpers look identical on the GT and V6 cars, except for the GT's and Mach 1's having fog lights but I mean that should still fit your car.
Check out below, a link to some bumpers for 99-04 cars. Most of the say they fit all 99-04 and the only one that says GT Mach 1 actually says in the description (when you click on it from the main bumper page) that it fits the V6 99-04 cars.

So to clarify... A GT/Mach 1 front bumper will fit my V6? Don't wanna buy this thing and have it not fit and be a waste of money. Thanks!

What different 'holes' are there, other than for the fog light openings? I'm curious what those other sites say it doesn't fit and what holes they meant.
That link has a customer submitted question with other people confirming that will fit a V6. I doubt there's a difference between a V6 and GT/Mach 1 bumper.
