Default To dual or not to dual

I am considering putting dual exhaust on my '06 Mustang v6 (Pony Package). I'm curious as to what it will sound like and will I see any performance and gas mileage improvements? I installed a K&N air intake after I was told that I would see improved performance; which I didn't. I've heard the same comments about a dual exhaust and I don't want to waste any money...

With the new 4.0L V6's you really need to use a hand held tuner along with the modifications to see good gains. The 4.0L responds to mods really well, you just have to use a tuner with it. If you were to do a complete exhaust system from the headers back and then get a tuner to complete the K&N intake then you should feel the power gains as well as have a nice sounding exhaust.

i have heard exactly what he said, but to answer your other question, yes you should get an mpg or two, obviously with the car having more power, when you are getting on it, you won't save gas.

Get an intake and an SCT tuner first then worry about exhaust later
