Default Upgraded Toy (pics and info)

1998 Stage 2+ 4.6L SOHC non-PI heads. (Keep in mind Stage 3 cars were only in '95 5.0L until they came out in '01 with M90 SCs as most people know the S3.) Stage 2+ was the SC version. This has a non intercooled M112 under the hood. Roush designed it for SVO and it found it's way to a few cars that way. It's sitting on a full Roush suspension, early style 18" wheels, BFG KDWs, upgraded brakes etc.... Right off the bat you'll notice no side exit exhaust. The earlier Roush cars had the rear exit option, and this has it. I want to put the Roush wing on it (or Steeda if I find a deal on it). Trans is a T56. Hood is functional heat extraction. I haven't taken under hood shots yet, but will soon.

Three months of work, and she shipped down from ATL today. She came with a TON of extras. The first thing to go on will be the 14" Alcon brakes which are sitting new in a box. And yes it's dirty

I've seen this car before, it used to be down in florida(I believe it was built there, but don't quote me). It used to have a mini bra on the front covering part of the hood. I personally love the saleen wing, but it being a roush, I see why you want the roush wing back on it. I love the 03 t56 swap, going to be a fun ride.

Not a fan of the billet grills either, doesn't look bad in your situation, but it would have to go if it were mine.

Nice ride, I guess your name will have to be swapped with something more appropriate. eace:

It was made in FL, but lived in LA and GA up until now.
Sixer is staying for now, but I'll probably sell the Exploder. I don't need THAT many things on wheels. This could be my daily and the white one can go full track duty again - unless someone buys it.

More pics.
Gotta love the SC tucked in there.

CF wheel is different. I'm used to leather wrapped. I'm sure I'll get used to it about as soon as I figure out where R normally is would now put me in 6th!!

i dont think its so hard remembering that you have a 6th gear as it is if you are driving a 5 speed and forgetting that you dont have 6 and accidentally try to go into reverse lol

LMAO - VERY good point.

Big brakes anyone?

Checking the boxes, found the old school Roush leather as well.

Wow, I love it! Great pickup Matt! How long did it take you to find that? Were you specifically looking for that kind of car? What kind of power does it put down w/ the non-intercooled M112?
