short tube headers really worth it?
Car is stock for the most part(motor wise), except it came with a true dual exhaust which looks like flowmaster 40s.
Looking to get some "umph" out of it and maybe some extra noise... not expecting huge power gains since my main focus is on suspension anyways.
Are the BBK shorty headers really worth it? how much bigger than they are stock?
I know long tubes provide better scavenging and whatnot but I'm on a budget.
Are they really worth it? or should I just save my money? Would love to hear some opinions of guys who have the headers.

what you should do and I am not 100% if everthing will bolt up correctly but get a set of 94-98 manifolds. They are basicly the same thing just a quarter the price.

Factory manifolds aren't a restriction until about 350 hp or so.

Don't bother with shorties - just use the money instead for gears/LSD, which will give you the "umph" you're looking for...

94-98 manifolds are tubular and pretty much shorty style headers.
The 99-04 exhaust manifolds are log style cast iron and don't flow as well.
