Default Should I buy the 95 Mustang?

This high school kid has a 95 Mustang v6 for sale for $1800 he said he put a new motor, clutch, and some other things in it, and it seems like a great deal to me. He said there's about 100k on the engine since putting it in but I wonder how long it has until needing a new head gasket.
My fear is it being a high school kid did it all and he admitted it was his first time working on a car, he put the motor in wrong. He said he goes to a career center where he works on tractors so it's basically the same for him.

Anybody else think I should risk it?

I don't have thousands to just throw around to fix MAJOR problems, I can handle a hundred here and there to keep it up to shape.

A 95 V6 with all that work on it is very questionable. It may run fine for another 100k or may poop out in 25K. The point is you never know. However with that said, unless the kid was raised around motors, I wouldn't put a lot of trust into the work of your average high schooler. $1800 may be a fair deal, but should something go wrong a new motor/install will run aorund $2000 so keep that in mind.

Also, 94-95 are the slowest of the SN95 cars so dont expect to go anywhere fast in it. Just sayin.

94-98s are all slow not just the 94-95s.

Duhh....not sure why I said 94-95's only. Probably was thinking about the HG issue for the 94/95s.
