i just got this car and it giving me this code P1518 P1518 Intake Manifold Runner Control fault - Stuck Open

what can i do or what do i need to buy to get this fixed

If Im not mistaken that takes some work to fix. You can drive it with it like that. Basically you wont have as good a 'pull' from the engine at low end as you should since it's stuck open..probably on both sides of the intake. Unless you like to race people I would let it go. IF that's what I think it is from reading online.

Like Daehawk said, unless you race......... or live up a really steep mountain, save your money. Not that big of a deal. At least it's stuck OPEN lol.

i too had this come up on my car and it was little plastic clips called runner secondary clips that are on the module i actually instead of buying these expensive clips from ford bought some vacume clips same thing
