Default High mileage 2010

I have a 2010 6cyl with 115,000 miles. I would like to keep the car and have it basically mechanically new and also make it semi performance.
Does any one know of replacement engines and drive trains if necessary that both renew and upgrade the six with a 5 speed?
I want basically a new car on the inside.

I had bad luck in the past with a shop doing a rebuild on another vehicle and am reluctant to do that again.

For starters, what is wrong with your car currently? Maintainence is all that is needed if you have no issues. Also you may get more help is you post in the appropriate section.

Its hard to give advise to someone that doesnt read beyond "v6" or doesnt know a 2010 isnt included in the 1994-2004 years stated in the section title.

Best to keep the car running as is. V-6 should go 200,000 miles.

You'd be talking a lot of money/time/trouble replacing motor or adding a manual 5 speed transmission.

Only do it when absolutely necessary.

My 2001 v6 went for 244k before a rod broke in the engine. No need to make undo work or pay the extra money if it doesn't have any serious problems yet. I paid $600 for a used engine with 30k miles after I broke the rod in my first then I went looking for some fun mods to do to it. Could have got a manual transmission as well but I did not want all that extra work.
