RE: sway bar opinion ?
The GT front is supposed to be significantly stiffer than the stock V6, so I installed the GT rear kit I got from Kevin at the same time I installed my Saleen GT front just to be safe. You should buy the Saleen front now while you can still get them for $30 shipped, and put it away til you can afford the rear set up. Better safe than sorry. Definitely the best mod for the dollars in my book.

RE: sway bar opinion ?
When I went for my test drive, I drove both my vert and a pony package hardtop to see the difference. I liked the pony package's handling, but got my vert because I wanted a vert. Since I got my car, I've gotten used to the looser handling but I still have one question on the sway bars...do they help out with the side-to-side motion when you're hit by wind at highway speeds? Also, would the sway bars make the stearing too stiff for the stock V6 becuase the tires aren't as big on those?

Kevin is a Ford parts manager that gives good discounts to us forum members. My complete OEM rear bar package (included all brackets, nuts, bolts) was $225 shipped to my door. You can reach him at clevparts@aol.com He's great to work with.

Yes! The GT rear sway bar fits the V6. If you are talking coupe to coupe, or vert to vert. The vert bar has a bend in it to go around the frame stiffening bars. But, a vert bar will fit on a coupe though. Man! did this sound as weird as it did in my head as I typed it? It must be getting late.

$500!!! WOW... that's high... Hellwig front $110 and rear $150 = $260 and they are solid and adjustable, and come with all hardware needed... or the GT takeoff front for $30 from Saleen... see my other threads about them... I agree it is a great mod, the change is unbelievable, but I would hesitate at that price
