Default Hellwig rear Anti-Sway bar

I just purchased a rear anti-sway bar direct from Hellwig with the associated hardware to install... same as the Mustang Monthly install guide. I did a search and found the Group buy here on the forum... $150 great buy!! I will take pics of the install, as I plan on doing it myself... heavier front sway bar is $110 here is the original post with phone number, etc... Nancy had me set up and off the phone in about 1 minute, and that was with me yapping for 45 seconds of it! should be about 4-5 days to get here she said! Next mod is on the way!

Sounds interesting, and I love the price. Do you have any specs (weight, diameter, etc.) on the Sway bar, or pics? Let us know how the install goes and how it handles after the install.

Here is some of the marketing info:

Quality Materials = Performance. Hellwig manufactures all sway bars from 4140 chrome-moly steel that is hot-formed and heat treated to a tensile strength 50% stronger than cold-formed anti-sway bars. The sway bars are powdercoated in silver vein hammertone finish and all mounting components are powdercoated semi-gloss black. The silver vein finish is as functional as it is attractive as the textured finish helps retain the bushing lube for the polyurethane bushings improving performance and eliminating noise.

The Hellwig adjustable front anti-sway bar #6705 is a solid 1-3/8 inch diameter which is noticeably stronger than the hollow factory bar. It features three end link attachment points to allow tuning for the street as well as the track. A 1 inch diameter adjustable rear anti-sway bar #6805 features two attachment points to further improve your Mustang’s cornering power. Both anti-sway bar kits include all mounting hardware and end links – no additional hardware is required for installation.
They are solid, but I have not found anything about weight yet

Here is a link to a site that carries them and has pics to boot (check the prices!)... http://www.brothersperformance.com/s...sway-bars.html

There is the link from where I just had the GT take-offs put on, go to the top of the page... I have the Saleen Bullitt's on now... need to get more pics

The Blue is a custom color... started as Denim blue, then was darkened a bit... it kind of changes color in sunlight a little. In shade it looks darker, and in sunlight it looks like a lighter blue.

If you want more pics, lemme know... I will get more with the Bullitt's this weekend
