Got my tunes from altern. auto after waiting almost a week! Thought i was going crazy! Anyway, he only gave me the 87 and 89 octane tunes, so im going to give him a call this weekend to see whats up. As for the 87 which i tested right after intall... definately a difference! Took my car to some back roads and lit my tires up time after time! It also pulls way better at higher speeds. The trans shifts way better, and at WOT it feels almost like a manual when it shifts. Definately the best mod so far! Do you think he would add the barbaric tune with the 91 octane for free...

can you please explain exactly what this is? is this a handheld that you plug into the computer and make the adjustments yourself? my husband just ordered something like this (i think it is the same) for his truck and was wondering if there was something for the car. sorry to be stupid about this but i am learning..i promise.

You can make adjustments yourself but you can order it with everything already done. I just plugged it in and pressed a few buttons...pretty straight forward. Oh yea... i tested it out even more today, one of my hispanic friends asked me to race after school, so i agreed. I followed him to a long narrow road behind some construction site and got next to eachother. He has a an 04 civic with basic bolt-ons (manual). The road was fairly new so traction sucked! Both of us lit up the tires through first gear and stayed neck and neck till i was about half way through second gear...then i began to pull on him and ended up wining by about 3 car lengths. Scared the crap out of me when my car got a little sideways while launching when i was that close to him! But it was a blast!

Lidio only carries an 87 and an 89 octane tune for the v6. I already called and asked. As for adding the barbaric shifts you have to send the tuner back to them and they charge you 40-50 bucks which includes shipping it back to you. If you want better shifts go to the shift press part and increase ot all the way to 25 percent , its not as good as the barbaric set up but it works.

Very Very hard shift changes. I dont think he is working on a high octane tune, jus tadd a couple of degrees on top and u should be fine.
