Default 2 12" subs

Ok. I need to fit this box in my trunk. The height, width, and depth will be fine once its in but I need to get it past the small trunk opening. All I need is about 2 inches so I'm thinking of removing the plastic shroud behind the tail lights, and probably the taillights themself. Has anyone put 2 12"s in their car yet? Anyone have any ideas LOL?

I tried for a while and ended up putting two 10 inch subs (comp vr) in there. Aside of the two twelves not being able to get in there, the depth of the box put them right against the the back of the trunk and left no space at all. That damn slant in the trunk really messed me up. I hope you get them in though, two twelves will give you some nice bump!

thats nice to know...I just measured it and there really isn't a lot of space. I think it will be worth it tho. I think I might have to cut the box in half...they are getting in! LOL

I've been lookin all over for a box that will fit in my trunk small enough to leave some room, but big enough to hold my subs. 2-12s also. BIG OL MAGNET, I found a nice small one that hold twelve at www.cardomain.com but it couldn't handle the magnet size. I work at best buy and I was thinkin about that box as well, just cut it down and seal it back up.

have you thought about pulling down the back seats and sticking it in thru that way with the rear seats folded down?

might fit, move the driver seat or pass seat all the way to the dash, fold the rear seats down and fit it in thru that way... then once its in the back of the trunk, adjust how its positioned so you can do what you gotta do...

after i posted this i saw that blackfoot suggested the same thing already, lolol...

Good luck getting them in. I was unable to get my 2 12" rockford P2's into that lil trunk. So i'm gonna end u My sub box w/woofer & amp. The box was just to freakn long and tall to fit so you might just want to go with some 10"

build your own box, premade ones are over sized
