Is that gain from a single MRT Axleback exhaust just for changing out the stock muffler??? Do you have to do different pipes too?

A lot of people like the single MRT. If you find one of Scrming's posts, his sig should have a link to his own site where he has clips for it. Sounds really good!

I'm back!!! WOOHOO! LOL! What a trip!!! LOL! More on that later...

The MRT single seems to be the best performing muffler... and is sounds mean... LOL! I gained 7RWHP OVER my "high performance" Magnaflow....

Dyno sheets and vids on my website (in my sig...)

sorry I'm so lazy... I just got home...

Stock pipes, just changing out the muffler! Here is how it sounds with duals:

My dual MRT's are already on order.

hard to believe just changing a muffler can add hp's. i would have thought other mods would have been necessary. good to know.

yeah, the V6 has an engine that's just waiting to be unleashed...Ford really locked it down. (muffler, limiter, conservative tune) All you have to do is unlock it. I guess what Ford did is help keep our insurance rates lower than they could've been.

You are completely right, they really have the 4.0 on a short leash from the factory. I think most of the reason is for emissions ratings and fuel economy. Like the delay in the drive-by-wire throttle is to level out the throttle on the highway and get better fuel economy.
