RE: Single VS Dual Exhaust
ORIGINAL: lmmmmm Is that gain from a single MRT Axleback exhaust just for changing out the stock muffler??? Do you have to do different pipes too? ORIGINAL: scrming ORIGINAL: chidrock A lot of people like the single MRT. If you find one of Scrming's posts, his sig should have a link to his own site where he has clips for it. Sounds really good! I'm back!!! WOOHOO! LOL! What a trip!!! LOL! More on that later... The MRT single seems to be the best performing muffler... and is sounds mean... LOL! I gained 7RWHP OVER my "high performance" Magnaflow.... Dyno sheets and vids on my website (in my sig...) sorry I'm so lazy... I just got home... http://american-speed.com/collective...read.php?t=128 My dual MRT's are already on order. |

RE: Single VS Dual Exhaust
hard to believe just changing a muffler can add hp's. i would have thought other mods would have been necessary. good to know.

yeah, the V6 has an engine that's just waiting to be unleashed...Ford really locked it down. (muffler, limiter, conservative tune) All you have to do is unlock it. I guess what Ford did is help keep our insurance rates lower than they could've been.
