I'm guessing just about anybody who stocks Flowmasters (or any other performance muffler) will do it:

An H will give you a deeper tone, an X will flow better. I dyno'd the X pipe and it gave me 2HP gain over my Y pipe. As for mufflers, go with what ever you like based on sound. I personally just ordered dual MRT's to replace my magnapacks.

It's true. The oxygen sensors are located in different places on the GT H-pipe than on our V-6 Y-pipe. It will take some modding from a muffler shop for it to fit. I also think the H-Pipe in wider by 1/8". I plan to run straight pipes and get rid of my Y-pipe.

Yeah H and Y aren't swapable, although you can cut the cats off the h, then cut the Y out, then weld in the H with no problems.
Wicked,
I wouldn't go straight pipes, they don't sound too nice (except for Todds with the glasspacks), it will be worth the effort to get a crossover in there somewhere.

Really? Oh well, I will probably leave my Y-pipe then. I don't think I'll gain too much HP adding an H-Pipe. Thanks for the advice.

yeah having it straight, youll only get 3 cylinders sounding from each pipe, with a sort of cross over you get all 6 cylinders out of each tail pipe.. with the Y pipe, its just not as throaty as an H of X... also with the Y you get the sound of the single stock exhaust on each side , from what ive heard anyways
