Wife's car. She wanted an auto. I didn;t argue because frankly she also wanted a Mustang GT and I didn't think I had anything to complain about. Plus my lightning was an auto and it was plenty fast.


Mustangs a alot more fun to drive with a standard though.

hey, i love my auto. when we were looking for a car (for the wife) i saw this beautiful white stang with black racing stripes. yes, it was automatic, but it was used and it was love at first sight. i looked past the auto since i wanted her so bad. needless to say, i got the stang (and the wife got a focus). when/if i ever trade her in, wife number 2 (oops, meant stang number 2) will be stick.

The lack of availability of a stick is one of the reasons I didn't buy the Stang last year. However, when the dealer asked if I was willing to wait two months for a stick V6, I told him "I ordered an Escort from the factory...of course I'd wait on a Mustang!" Then they wanted to shaft me on the trade in (I got the EXACT same amount they offered 10 months later).

I drive a manual and, the wife loves it that way. She one powershifting gal! Guess I'll keep her. LOL

I can't remember what mine is, I'll have to run down and check [sm=alcoholic.gif] Oh yeah, it's an auto. I really didn't have a choice unless I was willing to special order & wait, the only black/ black/ red verts I saw were all autos. If I buy another Mustang it will be special ordered and it will be a manual. Ever since I saw a pic of one with a Hurst stick and T-handle I was like [sm=drooldude.gif]

I love my auto for everyday driving, and of course, everybody nows...Autos are just plain.. Faster, jeje[8D]
