Are you talking about a throttle body, or a throttle body SPACER?

I mean, if you can really fabricate a new throttle body from scratch, I'm IMPRESSED. (and I'd like to order one)

However, I'm guessing you're talking about the throttle body SPACER, which yes, any idiot can drill a few holes in a piece of aluminum and add some type of spacer, but that's not what this thread is about.

Well stupid todd I guess I should have clarified. It was for the 4.6. If you like to waste your money instead of your snappy responses I can make you one. I'll even tell you that it'll make 20 hp. I can even make you some dyno sheets. Good luck!

Todd all I was saying was the 4.6 throttle body not spacer had very insignificant gains. To this point since the 4.6 is bigger and better upper range(as we know the 4.0 is a torque monster but runs out of breath higher revs) that they have reponded better percentage wise to the normal boltons. I was using this as a starting point for research and not the gospel on it. Also ask around BBR does not have a good reputation with the S197 crowd. Just maybe helping you save some $, to turn your car into a lean mean machine. It was also a joke i do not possess skills in metal working. Good luck and if you prove me wrong then you have a made a great discovery for 4.0 owners everywhere!
