17" bullit with 235/55R17 weighs 50 pounds according to my bathroom scale

Thank you for info. I just checked tires.com website and 235/55/17 weigh 26lb each and wheels are around 24lb.
Our 215/65/16 stock tires weigh around 24lb and not sure about the rim but will find out once I get my wheel off.

So if stock rim weigh 20lb or less and 235/60/16 tires are 24lb, I would stay with current wheels since I am saving over 20-24lb of unsprung weigh (140lb of sprung) and thats ~8hp difference so I'll stick with stock.

yep thats pretty accurate. One of my stock rim/tires was 41 lbs and $42 to ship

tires are 24lb each so 16" rim comes down to 17.5 - 18lb. Thats light enough for me :-) For better traction I am going with 235/55/16 to keep same 24lb per tire weight and better traction plus slightly better acceleration since it takes my rear ratio from 3.31 to 3.4
