choose my fate - premium V6 wheels or stock GT ones?
Okay guys, I like the wheels & Ford spinners that came on my V6 premium package, but I think that I'm starting to like the way that the stock GT ones look more now. (I would put in Pony center caps) Just curious, but what would I have to do if I switched them over? (since the ones I have now are 16" and the GTs are 17") My car is a black vert with the white side stripes and I put the pony emblems on the quarter panels. Just curious to see what what you guys' opinions are on this one...
Oh yeah, it also looks like the GT ones would be easier to clean too...

just curious, but I've never switched tires before on any car...what would I be in for? Would I have to get them checked out or get some kind of re-alignment? (I'm looking at a set of BARELY used GT takeoffs right now) Will it affect performance/handling much? Stupid question, I know...

i have both in my possession, and i had the same idea you did, but i hated the look of the anthecrate wheel and the chrome spinner in the middle. Your choice though.

Well, I pulled the trigger on it last night before I went to bed and got the GT ones for $325 shipped on ebay. I didn't want to risk missing out on the deal, and the more I looked at the GT ones, the more I liked them. They do have a tougher look and fill the wheel better IMO. (I don't want the bullits because I like the straight edge as opposed to the roundness of the bullits)
I won't be using the spinners on the GTs...I have a set of Pony caps that I didn't use on my V6 rims. (The spinner fit the style better, like in Lester's sig) I'll purobably just use the black & grey Ford caps that are already on the wheels anyway.
Should I do an alignment after I put them on?
