Hey guys,
just got a starmate for my car and I really hate the giant suction cup mount on my windshield. It wont stick anywhere else and its just out of arms reach.

Heres what I want to do: Id like to splice it into the 12v line somehow but I dont know where the best tap would be, I would like to mount it using velcro or some other method but I am unsure where it could be optimally mounted (without the suction cup arrangement) . I also dont know whether I can run the antennae to the back or if I should keep it up near the windshield.

Anyone have any recommendations or have done something similar? Any pics of your arrangement would be greatly appreciated :-)
