RE: SCT-2 and C&L are in! Tragedy strikes....
Just got my tuner in. Plugged it in to see if it works... I was about to panic when I didn't hear anything, but two seconds later it chimes on! Woohoo! Gonna wait 30 minutes before I get to it. Engines still hot and the car is dripping wet (raining in CA).

you shouldn't have to remove your aftermarket CAI or your custom tune when you bring it in for service. I have taken mine to the dealer (actually 3 different dealers) on several occassions for service and to check gas tank issues, and nobody has said anything about them.

Looks good!!
I'm curious about the 3 tunes as well, is one of them the stock tune or do you get 3 tunes AND the stock tune?
=How bad is it to run the C&L intake with the stock tune? I read once that as long as you don't floor it the air/fuel ratio won't cause any serious problems. ==
A good intake like the C&L flows so well that it will lean out your air/fuel mixture. This usually causes your computer to throw a trouble code (and the dreaded "check engine" light comes on), or it can also put the car into "limp home" mode. You definitely would not want to push it too hard as the lean condition may cause knocking which can damage your valvetrain. That's why they recommend installing a tune with a good intake. Interestingly, some intakes do not require tunes. This should be a red light to any potential buyer that the intake isn't flowing well!!
