California Dream Ram Air Hood 2005+ ?
Anyone have this hood http://www.lmperformance.com/5716/73.html ... are there any hood differences hardwarewise between 4.0 and the GT?
Also if you have the hood does it have cutouts for the wind-shield fluid squiter? or did you have to make notches in order to get it to work.....
I am trying to determine if I need to order anything extra to make this hood fit/work on my 2005 v6......
thanks in advance!!!

Nothing, but it doesn't hurt anything to ingest some water through the intake. Water injection kits used to be really popular to help reduce pinging/ knocking. I'd be more worried about keeping the motor clean, if you drive in the rain or slush with that hood it would make a huge mess under the hood I would think.

I used to have a similar hood on a chevy truck and never really had any sort of troubles due to water getting into the engine compartment, but just as mentioned, you could not keep that thing clean. I live in the South too, so would catch a lot of bugs lol... Pop the hood and see all kinds of crud on the engine, underside of the hood etc... They look nice though.
I also don't know if there is any size difference in the V6 and GT hood.
