Default exhaust tips?

Hey guys,

Only one obstacle remains in my custom duals project: the exhaust tips are on backorder! My local Midas has one tip, but without the other it's no good!

Here's the link to the tip I need: http://www.supremeperformance.com/Di...rt.aspx?pid=17 It's made by Volt Performance, part #577554. Do any of you know where I could find this for sale?

If not, I'm looking for another similar exhaust tip. Ideally, I need something with a 2 1/2" inlet, a outlet of 3 to 3 1/2", and a length of 7 to 9". I want double wall stainless steel with an angle cut rolled edge.

I've looked everywhere without much luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Tim

Thanks! That whole installation is almost exactly what I'm doing, from the custom h-pipe down to the tips.

Do you know how long the MRT tips are? And how wide the inlet diameter is? The site says they're 3 1/2" on the way out and just slip over the stock exhaust pipe, but since I'm getting aftermarket mufflers I wonder how the fit will be.

How's the weight on the tips? They look great, but do you know if they are double wall? I don't want anything flimsy.

Have you had any worries about the driveshaft hitting your h-pipe under compression? My installer wants to build a longer h-pipe and put it closer to the cats so that it won't be under the driveshaft.

Thanks again,
Tim

when your suspension is under compression your driveshaft will move away from the H pipe

I never did measure the length, but they fit right over the GT take off mufflers, maybe about 6 to 61/2 in long, call them and ask the measurments, they really are a nice product, nice weight to them

and nothing hits anywhere, no rattles no banging, just a nice sweet sound to the muflers, and when ya puch the pedel...oh yeah
