Technically, doesn't the vehicle shift before it hits the redline in an auto?

mine does since i got my tune installed, but not by much. and dont our cars actually redline at about 6500 rpm anyway? i know the tach says differently.

yeap... i had asked taht questoion because i watched mine redline shift (i'm an auto also) and they said tis fine becasue it shifts where its supposed to- nothing to worry about!
