RE: Supid warranty!!!
brand of what? in general what ever you do to a certain section of the car will only void the warranty for that section. For example if you change the muffler, the muffler will not be covered but the cats, hearders etc. will still be. There are TONS of posts on this. I recommend looking for sum of them.

RE: Supid warranty!!!
Don't you mean "supid" question?
You're right though, we are being a bit harsh to someone that might be a fellow 'stang owner A serious answer to the question is there really isn't a limitation on what parts manufacturer you use. A mod to a Mustang cannot void the warranty unless the dealership can somehow prove the mod was directly responsible for the damage. For example, if you put an aftermarket tuner on and your convertible top quits working, they are not going to tell you your warranty is no good because you put the tuner on. BUT, if you put that tuner on and you burn up your rings, the dealership -might- argue that the tuner is the problem and they will not repair ir under warranty. They also might not say that, it depends on the dealership. So the mod has to be directly related to the warranty issue for it to have any effect. In this example if the tuner was installed by your Ford dealership, they'd have to honor the warranty regardless though.
