I have an 05 V6 vert in screaming yellow. I am considering installing the 18x8.5 bullitt rims. I am yet undecided between black and chrome, but I am leaning towards black as I believe it will look better, specially as the car has black stripes and a black vinyl top. They recommend 235/50/18 tires. My question is, if you have done this mod, what size tires did you use and is the ride much harsher?

not really, 18" rims is a good size not too big, not too small. I'm not sure about the size of the tires but i know the wider the better, more rubber gripping the road = better handling and acceleration.

I like the balck better. 235's is a safe size, even though you could easily go with a 245 maybe even 255.
I'm running 18x9 and have 255/45, but i will go upsize to 265 on the next tire purchase.
