Like I said before 113-117 on the interstate on the way to work.
This might be off subject, but how fast have you driven in your life?
I used to have a 280zx that didn't have a working speedo, but I think I had that around 115-120. I just know I was going fast enough to pass an ambulance with the sirens going, but didn't (I was 18 and wasn't sure if I could get a ticket for that one). I just know that I traveled 80 miles in an hour.

LOL! Fastest I've had mine is 80 or so. I like acceleration, not top speed so much. You can have a good run of acceleration without breaking the law for more than a few seconds, but going for top speed is an invitation to get busted hard. Insurance companies in some states consider a speeding ticket over 100 mph to be equivalent to a DWI conviction. Who needs that?
One of the few times I actually decided to test out one of my motorcycles for top speed I hit 150 on a wide, straight stretch of freeway. It was still accelerating, but I started coming up on some traffic so rolled off the throttle. During decel, a friendly highway patrol car emerged out of a clump of cars going the other direction and did a u-turn. Man, what a sinking feeling that was. Thankfully I was slowing down, he clocked me at 89 in a 65. I got out of it by taking driver's ed, but I learned my lesson and have been mostly good since [sm=devilangel.gif] I don't really drive the Mustang hard, but the motorcycles, well let's just say they are a nice way to release tension

I've only had my stang up to around 90, but I've been in my dads Shelby Cobra when he was doing 130 on the freeway. Nothing like going that fast in a car that only weighs about 2k with the wind whiping around you.
