I'm too focused on the road ahead and looking for cops to look at my speedometer!!! But i've been 140 in my 02' x-type(135 limited???), and 160 in my 03' XKR(155 limited???) I'm not sure why, but i think i've been over the 113 governor limit in my v6 stang...does someone have an answer to why the speedometer either is incorrect or the limiter is just not adjusted correctly????

last night i finally took my stang up to the max ... lol same as all of u guys but i have a question...

u know how there is like a slight hesitation before it like lets u put it into the next gear when u go to redline or whatever? i hope u guys know what im talkin about, lol... it feels like it doesnt lt u put it in the next gear right away for me....

well anyway, just normal driving last night i tried putting it in 5th gear when it sounded like it may have grinded a little for some reason and i didnt miss a gear or anything.... i wonder if that has happened to anyone else... then when i was full throttle, i went 2 5th again and it did it again... 2 times in 1 night. i think i heard that 5th gear does something like that but dont remember totally....

I thought the govenor was set at 120 on the new stangs. Which still doesnt explain why I couldnt get it past 117, but none the less a speeding ticket two days after I got my stang has slowed my driving considerably.
