When I move the heater selector to the floor only mode, it blows on the windshield and the floor. My face gets hot before my feet.[sm=dontgetit.gif] Does anyone else have this problem? Other than that... 3000 miles and no problems.

your car is vented so that you cant "turn off" your air flow.. maybe the preset air vent that stays slightly open is the one for your defrost (windsheild) no matter which other setting you choose im willing to bet your windshield still blows

There have been MANY Complaints about the vent controls.

Ford has decided not to fix the problem and we just have to deal with it.

Don't bother taking it to your dealer on that one! They will just tell you there is no fix.

Either that or the other favorite line from dealerships on this problem is "It's supposed to be that way". In fact it's a design mistake, but like the others said it's one we all have to live with.

My 97 Sebring would do the same thing. The worst part was that it would blow right into my face and dry out my throat. At least I haven't noticed that on this car...I probably will now that you guys have mentioned it! [sm=smiley17.gif]

Yes I think we all have that problem. I think Ford would say "Its a Feature" haha...
