close my hood to the secondary latch, and with my palm (and with skill) i push down on the hood near the edge to get it to latch all the way be careful not to dent your hood with your palm[:@] lol to me a palm print i can wipe off is better than a borken/ loose hood that comes from droping it

So dropping the hood can break something? Hmm, I will have to try the press method again. In the past, mine has refused to close unless dropped (and from a significant height, at that). Is there anywhere specific I ought to press? Some trick to the technique?

umm dude, 28k for the V6 is way to much, even for a convertible. Just my 2 cents
However, for a $28k car,
they tried to charge me 26k for my v6 w/ pony package
